Find It, Rent It OR Buy It — Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the proper use of the Find It, Rent It OR Buy It property marketplace ("Platform"). All users must comply with this policy, which forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. Lawful Use

Users may only use the Platform for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with local property, consumer, tax, and estate agency laws.

3. Prohibited Activities

Security Violations

Attempt unauthorized access
Circumvent authentication or verification controls
Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission
Introduce malware or malicious code
Interfere with Platform operations or rate limits
Scrape, mirror, or bulk-download Listings or user data

Intellectual Property Violations

Copy or redistribute the Platform's software
Reverse engineer or decompile code
Use Listings, photos, or copy owned by others without authorisation
Misuse our trademarks, logos, or branding

Fraudulent and Misleading Activity

Post fake, duplicate, or bait Listings
Advertise properties you do not own or have no mandate to represent
Publish false prices, availability, or verification claims
Impersonate agents, landlords, or other users
Create multiple accounts to evade suspensions, fees, or unlocks
Manipulate reviews, ratings, or referrals
Solicit payments off-platform to bypass escrow or safety measures

Listing Content Restrictions

Users may not publish:

Illegal or unlicensed accommodations
Discriminatory Listings that breach applicable law
Adult, violent, or offensive imagery
Political, religious, or unrelated commercial advertisements
Personal contact details of third parties without consent
Content that infringes privacy, copyright, or trademark rights

Communication Abuse

Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
Harvest contact details for external marketing
Use the Platform for phishing or scams
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

4. Listings and Transactions

Advertisers are solely responsible for:

Accuracy of Listings (title, description, price, location, availability)
Compliance with rental, sale, short-let, and tax laws
Customer communications and viewings
Concluding lease, sale, or booking agreements
Refunds, cancellations, and dispute handling with counterparties

We are not a party to transactions between users, save where an escrow service is expressly provided.

5. Account Security

Use strong, unique passwords
Keep credentials confidential
Log out from shared devices
Report unauthorized access immediately

6. Monitoring

We may monitor Platform activity — including Listings, messages, transactions, and audit logs — for security, performance, compliance, fraud prevention, and quality assurance. Automated systems may flag or take initial action on suspected violations.

7. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where necessary:

Issue warnings
Edit, unpublish, or delete Listings at any status (pending, approved, rejected, draft, or expired)
Restrict features or paid entitlements
Withhold or forfeit Credits obtained through abuse
Suspend or terminate accounts
Refer matters to law enforcement or regulators
Pursue civil or criminal remedies

8. Reporting Violations

Users may report violations, unsafe Listings, or suspicious activity via the in-platform "Report listing" action or by email to support@finditandrentit.co.zw.

9. Amendments

We may amend this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
